Smartphones
One of the most highly anticipated smartphones is the LG Nexus 5. It is the first to run the Android KitKat 4.4 operating system and boasts a slim form factor with a screen that is just shy of five full inches. The display measures in at 1920 by 1080 pixels and has a 445-pixel-per-inch resolution. The phone is also quite light in spite of its size at only 130 grams. It is available with choices of either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. There is no microSD slot so as to maintain the slim build of the device, which has a primary rear-facing 8-megapixel camera. The chipset includes a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz processor and you can get the phone in either black or white.

The iPhone 5S is available in black and space grey, white and silver or white and gold in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. iOS 7 comes with the phones right out of the box, and you can expect great features that you have come to know and love from Apple, including an improved Siri voice assistant, iMessage and FaceTime. There is an array of great accessories you can get for your iPhone, including cases and extra batteries.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 is the latest offering in the world of Windows Phone 8. It is expected to be released in less than two weeks and is the first phablet from Nokia as it includes a full six-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. The device is available in color choices of black, white, red and yellow and is exceptionally slim at only 0.34 inches. However, unlike other premium Nokia devices, it has a microSD slot that supports up to 64GB of expansion in addition to its 16GB of internal storage. You can also look forward to a quality 20-megapixel camera that includes Carl Zeiss graphics technology. The large screen has more room for additional tiles and has Nokia’s ClearBlack technology, which allows you to view your display even in the brightest sunlight.
